I think it's my most personal song ever.
We all still have wounds and (false) beliefs from our childhood that influence us today as adults.
At some point we had to grow up quickly and leave ourselves as children. Leave with all the unresolved problems and situations without saying "goodbye". Self-alienation.
Until I wrote the last part, I found it very difficult to work through everything that I had suppressed all these years. But it finally brought me back into harmony.
With such a harsh topic, technology and the like are secondary to me. The soulful vibe and the depth of the lyrics are the elements that make up this song.
